YVO4 crystal

The yttrium orthvanadate (YVO4) is a positive uniaxial crystal grown with Czochralski method. It has good temperature stability and physical and mechanical properties. Undoped YVO4 crystal is widely used in many displacement because of its large birefringence. It also has good physical and favorable mechanical properties than other birefringent crystals, which make it well suited for compact fiber optical components, such as isolators, beam displaces , circulators and interleavers etc.
